I'm developing FairScan, an Android app to scan documents to PDF. I started in May 2025 and now spend most of my time working on it.

FairScan is designed to be simple and respectful.

Scanning a document to PDF is a basic need today, but most "free" apps don't serve users' interests. They collect private data, show ads, or use dark patterns to push paid features. I'm building FairScan differently: just an app that works, and respects its users.

This takes time and effort: improving document detection, image processing, and making sure everything works smoothly for everyone.
