Transit Live (transitlive.fi) is a free, ad-free realtime public-transport map and journey planner covering Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia.

It shows buses, trams, metro, trains and ferries moving on the map in real time, lets you plan a trip with step-by-step directions, and guides you while you travel ("board here", "get off at the next stop") — including the cross-border ferries between Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallinn. It also shows shared bikes, e-scooters and car parking where open data is available.

Transit Live runs on minimal resources. The whole service — the live map, the journey planner and the statistics — runs on a single small server that is personally funded

It is deliberately kept free, with no ads and no tracking, and it does not sell your data. Donations go straight to the concrete running costs: the server, the domain and data transfer. The goal is simply to keep the service online, independent and ad-free. Anything beyond costs goes into wider coverage: more cities, more countries and more realtime feeds.

Other ways to help

Donating isn't the only way. Sharing the service, reporting bugs and suggesting improvements help just as much.
